Dallas Architecture Forum presents Charles Renfro

The Dallas Architecture Forum will present Charles Renfro, AIA, Architect and Partner in the firm of Diller, Scofidio + Renfro.

Mr. Renfro is one of the country’s leading designers of arts institutions, including the renovation and expansion of the Julliard School, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, the Broad Museum in Los Angeles and the Alice Tully Hall and Hypar Pavilion at Lincoln Center in New York. He is a graduate of Rice University and holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University.

Renfro has taught at Rice University, Parsons the New School for Design, School of Visual Arts, and Columbia University. He is a National Academy Academician, and Academy Life Time Achievement recipient, an honoree of the American Academy in Rome, and he was honored as a Rice University Distinguished Alumnus, one of the youngest alumni to ever receive this prestigious award. Most recently, Renfro has also been named as a 2015 Texas Medal of Arts Honoree by the Texas Cultural Trust.
