Broughton is recognized as a top leader in designing cutting-edge architecture for one of the last frontiers on earth, the extreme climates of Antarctica and other polar environments. Recognized most recently with the cover article of Interior Design magazine, he has designed research stations in polar regions of Antarctica and the Greenland Ice Cap for Great Britain, Spain and the United States.
