The 2014 Dallas Architecture Forum Panel Discussion Series continues with Catherine Gavin, Editor of Texas Architect Magazine, moderating “Revitalizing Flood Plains as Public Spaces.” This panel will bring together experts who are rethinking the role of flood plains in urban areas. Plans for Austin’s Waller Creek; the Trinity River in Fort Worth and Dallas; and the San Antonio River, which all aspire to redevelop flood plains as active public spaces, will be explored.
