The 2017 Dallas Art Fair brings several exciting additions to its exhibitor list, including world-renowned galleries Gagosian Gallery, Lehmann Maupin, Simon Lee Gallery, Skarstedt Gallery, and Shane Campbell Gallery. This installment will reveal over 90 galleries from 16 different countries.
The fair will also include The Dallas Music Experience on the Fashion Industry Gallery lawn, showcasing Dallas' top musical talent to fair-goers for the first time in its nine-year history. Taking place on Friday, April 7 from 4-7 pm, performers will include Sam Lao, Blue, The Misfit, Sealion, Party Static, and Cygnus performing, along with a special DJ set by Picnictyme.
The Preview Gala on April 6, which benefits the Dallas Museum of Art, Nasher Sculpture Center and Dallas Contemporary, offers art patrons and Dallas’ top collectors the opportunity to preview and purchase exhibited works prior to the public opening of the fair.
The Dallas Art Fair will include 88 international exhibitors for its 15th edition, featuring a redesigned floor plan to accommodate more spacious booths. It offers collectors, arts professionals, and the public the opportunity to engage with a rich selection of modern and contemporary artworks presented by leading national and international galleries.
The 88 exhibitors represent 20 countries and 46 cities from around the globe, including Accra, Austin, Berlin, Houston, Kyiv, Mexico City, Milan, Montreal, Paris, Santa Fe, Shanghai, and Taos.
The fair kicks off with a VIP preview on April 20, followed by the main event, April 21-23.
