During the Dallas Arts District Summer Block Party, the Crow Collection of Asian Art, Dallas Museum of Art, and Nasher Sculpture Center all have special activities planned like music in the galleries, film screenings, outdoor concerts and guided tours. As you hop from one world-class museum to the next, stop in the streets and enjoy gourmet food trucks, live local music, activity tables and social media scavenger hunts. Activities include:

Crow Collection After Dark
In preparation for the Dalai Lama’s July visit, the Crow Collection is hosting a documentary screening and free meditation. Additionally, the At Home and at Court: Chinese and Japanese Paintings will be on display during these special late night hours.

DMA Late Night
Calling all superheroes! Grab your cape and fly over to the Dallas Museum of Art to catch special screenings of Batman at 9 pm at the Ross Avenue Plaza and The Avengers at 9:30 pm in the Horchow Auditorium.

‘Til Midnight at the Nasher
Listen to local singer/songwriter group The Walden Twins at 6 p.m in the Nasher Garden. Next, stay around for the Austin based SXSW 2014 Rock Band of the Year Quiet Company at 7 p.m. Lastly, enjoy the film A Fish Called Wanda at 9 p.m. Watch characters battle if out for stolen jewels as they an entangle themselves in a web of greed, romance, and foolishness.

In addition, the DMA will host an Arts District Courtyard Sale in the Fleischner Courtyard on select discounted merchandise from the DMA, the Nasher, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the Crow Collection.
