Hosted by Baba Chuck Davis (BAM), DanceAfrica returns for the ninth year of jubilant celebration. Come dance with the elders, rock to the melodic rhythm of the drums or just sit back and enjoy the majesty of the ceremonial rituals and traditions deeply rooted in African culture. All five of Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s performing companies will perform in the Montgomery Arts Theatre inside Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts.
