Celebrate rhythms ancient and new with all five of DBDT’s performing companies and the return of festival founder, Dr. Baba Chuck Davis. Atlanta’s internationally renowned, all-female Giwayen Mata will perform African dance, percussion, and vocals. Audience favorite Bandon Koro Drum and Dance Ensemble return with their captivating, high energy and explosive presentation. Booker T. Washington HSPVA’s talented World Ensemble dance troupe also performs.
