Dallas CASA will present Champion of Children Award Dinner honoring Goldman Sachs with the prestigious Jan and Judge Barefoot Sanders Champion of Children Award.
The evening will feature guest speaker Steve Pemberton, bestselling author, managing director at Seramount, host of the Pemberton Podcast, and lifelong advocate for human dignity. The Champion of Children Award, named for Judge Harold Barefoot Sanders and his wife Jan, recognizes community leaders who significantly improve the lives of children. Event Co-Chairs are Pam Busbee, Christie Carter, Megan & David Martinez.
A steadfast partner for more than 25 years, Goldman Sachs has transformed Dallas CASA’s ability to serve children in need. The Dallas CASA Classic golf tournament, founded in 1998 by Archon Group (later acquired by Goldman Sachs), has raised nearly $28.1 million for Dallas CASA. In addition, Goldman Sachs supports children through other initiatives, including an annual holiday gift drive delivering presents for more than 400 children each December.
