The Dallas Center for Architecture will present a book signing with Spanish architect Luis Vidal, giving visitors a chance to meet him and learn about his past and current projects, including Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport, which will open in June of 2014. Founded in 2004, Vidal's firm is one of the largest and most important architectural practices in Spain and has established an international reputation for its large-scale public buildings, with a specific focus on airports and transportation architecture.
His book, From Process to Results, looks at all of the firm's major projects that have been built or designed to date, with a primary focus on the working process behind the practice, including a look at the role of collaboration with other architects and designers, as well as the crucial role of clients.
