Dallas Chamber Symphony's second concert of the season sends the audience on a musical journey through Europe, beginning with Bartók’s "Romanian Folk Dances," an early masterpiece comprised of six, short movements. The orchestra will also perform Bach’s "Brandenburg Concerto No. 2," featuring solos from Caleb Hudson on trumpet and Margaret Fischer on flute. Rounding out the evening is our virtuosic strings’ take on a memento from Tchaikovsky’s summer sojourn in Italy, his romantic "Souvenir de Florence."
