The 2013 Hope for Humanity Award Dinner will honor Father Patrick Desbois. It is Father Desbois' work to bridge the relationship between Catholics and Jews. In 2004, he joined leaders in the French Catholic and Jewish community in founding Yahad-In Unum. One of its initiatives is conducting an investigation of the location of the mass graves of more than 2.5 million Jewish victims in Eastern Europe between 1941 and 1944.
