The Upstander Speaker Series Fall Lecture features Dorothy Budd, local author and former child sex crimes prosecutor for the Dallas Country District Attorney’s office. Budd’s book, Tested: How Twelve Wrongly Imprisoned Men Held onto Hope, chronicles the lives of men who were wrongly convicted for crimes they did not commit.

Budd will be joined on stage by some of the now exonerated men featured in the book who will share their personal journeys of hope, forgiveness and redemption. This is the second of three events in the lecture series from the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance.
