Before becoming Dr. Ruth, psychosexual therapist and world-renowned sex expert, 10-year old Karola Ruth Siegel was one of thousands of Jewish children separated from their parents and sent on the Kindertransport to escape the Nazis. She made it to safety in Switzerland in January 1939. Sadly, the rest of her family was murdered in the Holocaust.

In this event, Dr. Ruth will share her inspirational story of survival, determination, and triumph. She will talk about her heartbreaking childhood loss and her current and most important mission: inspiring others and empowering them to stand up against prejudice, hatred, and indifference so that history does not repeat itself.
