As part of the 30th anniversary “The Year of the Teacher” programming at the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture, the Louise and Donald Cowan Center for Education will present its 2013 Education Forum. It will also unveil its newest publication, What is a teacher? Remembering the Soul of Education Through Classic Literature. The Forum will take the title of this book and encourage guests to think about education in a different way by casting a spotlight on those who are the heart and soul of education: the teachers.
