Each year, the Cowan Center™ invites primary and secondary educators and also the general public to consider and explore the essential aims of humanities education and to hear guest speakers present their work for discussion. This semester, Institute Fellow Dr. Diana Senechal will make a special appearance, traveling to Dallas from Szolnok, Hungary, and bringing two of her colleagues from the Varga Katalin Secondary School, the poet and editor Gyula Jenei and the critic Marianna Fekete, for a two-day program during which they will make presentations about their work together in Hungary and invite audience members to participate.
