In Life is Beautiful, director Roberto Benigni’s Academy-Award winning film, the horrors of life in a Nazi concentration camp are transformed into a world of imagination for one small boy. Guido decides to hide the reality of their dismal situation from his son by pretending it’s only part of a game.
