Set in a small town in the Texas Hill Country, This is Where We Live explores the limits of friendship, selflessness and family. A mother must deal with multiple familial issues, including a son with cerebral palsy, a husband who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's Disease and a daughter who has distanced herself from the daily life of the family, not to mention her own health problems. When she hires a man to build a wheelchair ramp and help out with her son, he has an impact on the entire family.
