The 17th Dallas International Film Festival will feature films from both established and emerging artists in a wide range of styles with screenings of more than 100 films submitted from more than 60 countries, as well as Q&A sessions with filmmakers and actors, nightly DIFF Red Carpets, a Festival Lounge, and special events.

Highlights of the festival include BlackBerry, about the rise and fall of the smartphone company; the documentary A Disturbance in the Force: How the Star Wars Holiday Special Happened; the documentary Gibson Icons: Rex Brown of Pantera; Parachute, the feature writing and directing debut of actor Brittany Snow; the documentary Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie; and more.
