In the latest Jazz in the Atrium at Dallas Museum of Art, LaLa J and Friends will present the music of Ella Fitzgerald. LaLa J was influenced by gospel and R&B, but she finds real comfort in the ingenuity that is demanded by jazz. Her command of the voice as an instrument can be readily appreciated in her performance tribute to singing legend Ella Fitzgerald.
