As part of the Dallas Museum of Art's lecture series State of the Arts, KERA host and executive producer Jeff Whittington will moderate a discussion about contemporary artists with local artists Christopher Blay, Janeil Engelstad and Stephen Lapthisophon. Lapthisophon’s work will be featured in an exhibition in the DMA’s recurring Concentrations series, Concentrations 56: Stephen Lapthisophon—coffee, seasonal fruit, root vegetables, and “Selected Poems,” on view October 27, 2013 through March 30, 2014. This exhibition is Lapthisophon’s first U.S. museum solo show.
