The Dallas Opera will present another free Composing Conversations composer-librettist Mark Adamo and opera critic Gregory Sullivan Isaacs. Adamo is the creator of three operas, including Little Women, Lysistrata and his newest work, The Gospel of Mary Magdalene. Isaacs is the Senior Classical Music and Opera Critic for the performing arts website Theater Jones.com and a composer in his own right, having been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for composition.
The conversation will explore all aspects of Adamo’s working career, as well as his ideas about music, drama and theater.
