Every other year, some of the finest young opera singers from across the U.S. eagerly apply for the chance to compete against themselves - and each other - on the Winspear Opera House stage. Competitors are selected from a pool of hundreds; finalists are chosen by an esteemed panel of judges with invaluable industry experience and insights.
The prestige, generous prize monies, and the "People's Choice Awards" (chosen by audience members) make this one of the most sought-after accolades in the industry.
The singers will be accompanied by the Dallas Opera Orchestra.
