The Dallas Opera will present a special version of The Three Little Pigs as part of their OperaTruck community tour.

True to the classic tale, three little pigs prepare to build their separate houses to withstand an impending visit by the hungry wolf. Only this time, the pigs are named for famous characters in Mozart operas (Despina, Cherubino, and Don Giovanni) and they sing their little hearts out as they debate the merits of straw, sticks, and brick as building materials.

Performance schedule

  • March 14: Grand Prairie Memorial Library
  • March 28: White Rock Hills Branch Library
  • April 25: Park Forest Branch Library
  • May 2: Pleasant Grove Branch Library
