The Robert E. and Jean Ann Titus Art Song Recital Series will feature internationally-acclaimed New Zealand-born heldentenor, Simon O’Neill, a principal artist at The Metropolitan Opera; the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; Teatro alla Scala; and both the Bayreuth and Salzburg Festivals; in an exclusive recital produced by The Dallas Opera.
O’Neill will be accompanied by renowned pianist, Terence Dennis, the head of Performance Studies at the University of Otago Department of Music in his native New Zealand. Dennis frequently accompanies some of the world’s most renowned vocalists, ranging from Dame Kiri Te Kanawa to Sir Bryn Terfel and has collaborated with O’Neill for more than a decade.
