Bartok's Bluebeard's Castle is a chilling tale of seven locked doors, one curious bride and a castle filled with dark secrets. Matthias Goerne and Michelle DeYoung take the lead in this work that had its North American premiere in Dallas in 1949. Mozart's "Little G Minor" symphony opens the program.
