Dallas Symphony Orchestra presents Carmina Burana
Arguably one of the most popular orchestral pieces performed today, Carmina Burana astounds with extraordinary spectacle and thrilling vocals from the over 200 members of the Dallas Symphony Chorus. The concert will be conducted by Brett Mitchell.
Performers include Cyndia Sieden, Soprano; Nicholas Phan, Tenor; Stephen Powell, Baritone; Dallas Symphony Chorus under the direction of Joshua Habermann; and Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas under the direction of Cynthia Not and Terrie Preskitt-Brown.
Selections for the concert include Theofanidis’ “Rainbow Body,” Elgar’s “Cockaigne Overture” and Orff’s “Carmina Burana.”
