Dallas Symphony Orchestra presents Beethoven Festival: Immortal Beloved

As part of their Beethoven Festival, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will present a free screening of Immortal Beloved at the DMA. Gary Oldman stars as Beethoven in this 1994 film about the life of the composer and the mysterious identity of his one true love. The film’s soundtrack features some of Beethoven’s greatest music. Also playing: Beethoven, a short, vintage 1920s silent movie featuring a live performance of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata by pianist Toni Austin-Allen.
