Dallas VideoFest will present the final Docufest+, featuring a lineup of independent documentaries from Texas filmmakers and beyond. VideoFest is the longest-running independent film festival in Dallas.
Featured films will include On the Divide by Maya Cueva and Leah Galant, a portrait of three key players in the abortion battle at the Whole Women’s Clinic in McAllen, Texas, the last clinic in the South Texas area; and Socks on Fire, poet Bo McGuire’s cinematic love letter to his grandmother, as his homophobic aunt and drag queen uncle wage war over her estate in Hokes Bluff, Alabama.
