The Danielle Georgiou Dance Group will present a new work, Swarm, that examines the cyclic nature of time, space, and language. Referencing political and philosophical texts, in addition to original text by Danielle Georgiou, Swarm looks to nature’s most democratic community – bees – for answers. A brief Q&A with the choreographer and performers will follow the performance.
This performance is part of a developing partnership between Danielle Georgiou and the Dallas Public Library. Together, they are actively exploring programming and events to grow this partnership into an artistic residency in the next year.
