DMA Arts & Letters Live will present a virtual event with David Sibley, author and illustrator of the successful guides to nature that bear his name, including The Sibley Guide to Birds.

Sibley will discuss his latest book for birders and nonbirders alike, What It's Like to Be a Bird, which provides a new and deeper understanding of what common, mostly backyard, birds are doing - and why. Sibley answers some of the most frequently asked questions about the birds we see most often. While Sibley's talk is aimed at adults, it is nontechnical, making it the perfect occasion for parents and grandparents to watch with children and share their love of birds together.

Anyone interested in purchasing a book with a signed bookplate after they view the event can do so through this link.

Following the live event on July 14, viewers will have access to a recording of the program through July 28.
