East Dallas Arts, a new community arts group, will open its performance space and present its second production, 13 The Musical by Jason Robert Brown. East Dallas Arts is the brainchild of Tom Parr, professional theater director and Amy Kulas, executive director and co-founder.
13 The Musical features teenagers from all over Dallas from four different schools including Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, St. John’s Episcopal School, Woodrow Wilson High School and Christ the King, and will remind the audience of the joys, the pains, and the growth of being 13.
