East Dallas Arts presents its second socially-distanced, livestream and on-demand production, KEDA's Night of the Living Dead. The production features student and adult actors, and a few undead.
A global pandemic has caused all theaters to close, but the Drama Club at J. Edgar Hoover High School in Evansville found a way to perform their fall production of Night of the Living Dead. The local community radio station, KEDA, agreed to broadcast the production as a live radio show, but the production takes a deadly turn.
Written by East Dallas Arts' Artistic Director, Tom Parr, and Kristen Parr, and adapted from Night of the Living Dead, the production documents what happened that night at the radio station when life began to imitate art.
After the initial livestream dates, the production will be available on demand October 23-December 3.
