Presented as a dramatic musical work with a cast of eight actor/musicians, Bone Hill: The Concert is inspired by Martha Redbone’s family history in the Appalachian Mountains. This is an epic story of one woman’s return to her homeland on Black Mountain and the coal mines of Harlan County, Kentucky. Martha Redbone is presented in partnership with UT Dallas School of Arts & Humanities. The UT Dallas Vocal Ensemble will open the performance following a four-day residency on the campus.
