Bringing the aesthetic of classic movie musicals to the stage, two actor/dancers and four ridiculous puppets playing 16 different characters use rapid-fire dialogue, physical comedy, 1930s music (think Benny Goodman), Fred and Ginger-style dancing and boxing to tell a romantic rags-to-riches story about beating the odds and spending your time wisely.

The artists of Sossy Mechanics will be engaged with arts and humanities students at UT Dallas during a week-long residency event.
