The Emily Javadi Foundation will host its inaugural Bright Light Benefit. Proceeds from the event will support various local organizations that fulfill the mission of the foundation.
The foundation was formed in 2015 following the tragic death of 34-year-old Emily Javadi, who was known and loved by thousands as a vibrant, creative young woman with an unquenchable desire to create art, interact with people, and push herself physically.
The Bright Light Benefit will begin with a reception and performance painting by internationally known Cuban/American artist Rolando Diaz to live music performed by Open Classical. The evening will feature many of Emily’s favorite Dallas composers, instrumental performers, singers and songwriters, including Radu The Violin Guy, Rahim Quazi, Thiago Nascimento, Mark Landson, and more.
A live auction at the closing of the event will include the original painting valued at $7,000, plus funds will be raised through a silent auction and surprise gift draw featuring over ninety donated items from across the metroplex and Emily’s favorite vacation destination, Playa Del Carmen.
