The Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival, celebrating 70 years of bluebonnet trails, includes vendors, food, a beer garden, wine wander, and live entertainment. Music on the Main stage Friday night will feature Infinite Journey, a Journey tribute band. Country music artist Rick Trevino will headline on Saturday night.
Throughout the entire month of April, visitors are invited to experience 40 miles of mapped bluebonnet trails featuring longhorn cows, horses and the gorgeous wildflowers.
The 72nd annual Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival will feature an abundance of activities and live music throughout the weekend as well as a spectacular array of Texas bluebonnets across 40 miles of trails.
Festival activities include arts and crafts exhibitions, shopping, children’s activities, the railroad and cultural heritage museum, and food options. Visitors also can enjoy the beer garden or sample Texas wines at the Ennis Education Foundation Wine Wander.
Visitors can experience 40 miles of mapped bluebonnet trails during the entire month of April. These trails are the oldest known trails in the state of Texas. Along the route, visitors will enjoy tree-lined country roads, longhorn cows, horses, and fields resplendent with colorful wildflowers.
