Freedom Fest, presented by the City of Ennis, features a choreographed fireworks display that will include thematic elements not seen anywhere else in the Lone Star State.

Visitors will enjoy children’s activities including paddle boats, a rock climbing wall, slides, and an obstacle course, festival food and drinks, and a performance by Le Freak, the “World’s Greatest Disco Band.” The first five hundred people in Veterans Memorial Park will enjoy a free burger meal compliments of In-N-Out Burger.

Free parking and shuttle transfers will be provided from the Ennis High School parking lot, located at 1405 W. Lake Bardwell in Ennis, to and from Veterans Park.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy a carnival midway (June 23-26), a colorful bike parade through downtown Ennis, and a patriotic festival.

The event benefits Give a Kid a Chance with visitors asked to help Stuff the Bus by bringing school supplies for kids in elementary, middle and high school.
