North Texans will soon have a new option for beating the heat in the form of Epic Waves, a 10,000 square-foot, 300,000 gallon wave pool opening at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark.
The new attraction is notable as the first major expansion of the still-new waterpark, which opened in January 2018. Guests can enjoy the surf along the pool’s beach entry, or relax on one of the pool deck’s shaded chaise lounge chairs throughout the summer.
Epic Waves’ most distinctive feature will be the periodic simulated surge of four-foot high waves, which will run for 10 minute intervals throughout the day. Poolside amenities include private cabanas available for purchase, concessions, and complimentary innertubes and life jackets. Waterpark guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy the pool, which will remain open until Labor Day before closing for the season. Access to the pool will be included in the cost of admission.
