Resistance, Re-Live and Proceed is a new endurance and durational performance by Erica Felicella. This new work is part of a collective gathering of thoughts, ideas and concepts to meet a performance challenge. The goal is to not let 2020 go past without a solo work and in doing so a challenge was put out to make one happen before the end of the year.
This is an interactive work so it involves direct engagement from each visitor. The work lasts from exactly sunrise to sunset on December 29. A special entrance ceremony is to take place before entering and then again after exit. What happens in between is up to each visitor. Everyone will take a solo journey through the piece.
This new work is an outdoor, safe and distanced. Everyone will go through one at a time. It is highly interactive and only works with attendance. Visitors are encouraged to wear good shoes and long pants. Masks are required. Precautions are being taken to ensure safety and protection for everyone.
