After a successful staged reading last November, On the Eve — a rock musical by Michael Federico and Home by Hovercraft’s Seth Magill and Shawn Magill — returns this fall to the Margot Jones Theater in the Magnolia Lounge in Dallas’ historic Fair Park for a world premiere production directed by Jeffrey Schmidt.
Produced by Spacegrove Productions in association with Nouveau 47 Theatre, On The Eve is a rock-fueled musical about Marie Antoinette and her trip in a hot-air balloon time machine. With revolution on the horizon, Antoinette turns to a space-busting aeronaut, a crazed scientist, and a beautiful muse to set things right before launching them on their way to a different time to take on politics, the church and science.
The cast inlcludes Gregory Lush, Martha Harms, Jenny Ledel, Brian Witkowicz, Maryam Baig, Seth Magill, Ian Ferguson, Stephen Witkowicz, Sarah Duc, Aspen Taylor, Dante Flores and Tara Magill, with special appearances by Shawn Magill, Max Hartman and Johnny Sequenzia.
On the Eve runs from November 30 to December 15, 2012.
