Stelarc is a performance artist who has visually probed and acoustically amplified his body. He has used medical instruments, prosthetics, robotics, virtual reality systems, the internet and biotechnology to explore alternate, intimate and involuntary interfaces with the body. Following a lecture by Stelarc, he will present an art installation that will feature a large scale live suspension collaboration between Stelarc and Havve Fjell of Wings of Desire. These two internationally acclaimed artist with be presenting a flesh hook suspension that is guaranteed to be both unique and breath taking.
