Fearing’s will cap off its first year of Live Oak Sessions, the restaurant’s popular event series combining food, drink, entertainment and conversation, with a spirited tribute to Texas films. The flavorful evening of food, wine, film and fun is called Best of Texas, Wine and Film, and it is part 2 of last spring’s sold-out Live Oak Session led by Dallas favorites Gary and Hayley Cogill.
Pairing films made in Texas with Texas wines, wines with Texas connections, and great tastes from Fearing’s, this entertainment lovers’ event will again be led by the Cogills, hosts of the popular podcast, Cogill Wine & Film, A Perfect Pairing, on reVolver Podcasts, and partners in Cogill Consulting. The event will include an interactive discussion of some of the best films made throughout the state of Texas, matching up each region with a different wine from around the state, or from wineries and winemakers with Texas connections.
