WordPlay is a concert inspired by the literary wit of Lewis Carroll - but expressed in musical puzzles. Acronyms, mirror imagery, musical acrostics, and more, are found in works by Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, David del Tredici, and Julia Wolfe.
The program includes David del Tredici's Virtuoso Alice, Angélica Negrón's Three insults for two violins, Julia Wolfe's With a blue dress on, Johannes Brahms' Scherzo from F.A.E. Sonata, and Robert Schumann's Finale from F.A.E. Sonata.
Performers include Samantha Bennett, Nathan Olson, and Gabriel Sanchez.
