The Arts Collective at Eastfield College, in collaboration with the Galleries at Eastfield College and the Dance Department, will present interdisciplinary performance artist Brandon Gonzalez in a special, one-night-only performance.

In Body Textures, Gonzalez will explore how corporeal perceptions, physical performance, and video manipulation can result in the discovery of new textures and tensions between the body and the space it inhabits. He views the body as a “sensing sculpture,” connected to world, continually in flux and responding to change. Through the performing body, objects in his installation become supporting actors, blurring the border between flesh and thing.
