The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra will host its 50th Anniversary Gala. "Journey To The Stars" will celebrate the organization’s five decades of cultivating North Texas’ youth musicians and launch the organization into the future.
The Annual Gala and Season Finale performance is the sole fundraising event for GDYO. The funds raised at this event contribute significantly to the organization’s ability to provide much needed services and once in a lifetime musical opportunities for the youth in Dallas and North Texas.
GDYO is in a season of growth, now serving over 4,000 young musicians through nine ensembles, as well as subsidized music programming within underserved DISD schools. GDYO provides wholesome, challenging musical opportunities for special young musicians who come from 50 different communities and over 120 different schools.
