Giddens Gallery of Fine Art in Grapevine will present "Modern Earth" by artist Kelly Gowan. The exhibition showcases Gowan's unique styles of abstract artwork. She utilizes mediums such as resin and enamel of which she blends and manipulates with her hands, art tools and even blow torches. Her paintings represent her love of nature.

Often in her work, Gowan leaves much to the imagination of the viewer. This allows one to explore what the piece personally means to them. Gowan’s modern abstract representation of mountains, oceans, trees and animals are internationally collected.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through April 2.
