The Women of Distinction Luncheon, chaired by Venise Stuart and Candace Winslow, recognized outstanding female community leaders. One “Man Enough to Be a Girl Scout” honoree and two young women of distinction for their contributions to the community.

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is the premier leadership development organization for girls. Contributions through the event provide leadership development and essential life skill-building programs to more than 25,000 girls in our community. This mission of Girl Scouts is to help girls discover and develop their best selves by instilling in them courage, confidence and character to make the world and better place.
