Girls Inc. will present Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman will speak and lead a panel discussion entitled “Becoming the Best of the Best:  How Girls Rise Above the Competition." The panel will also include local Olympic shot-putter Michelle Carter and track star Natasha Hastings, who will talk about girls’ and women’s participation in sports and competition from an Olympian perspective, reflecting on the personal experiences of Lieberman and Carter.

The discussion will be held in the Perot Museum’s Sports Hall of Fame where Lieberman is featured. Guests will be able to explore the Sports Hall of Fame until 9 pm.
