The season opener for Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra will commemorate the anniversary of Benjamin Britten's birth. The GDYO will perform Britten's Peter Grimes Four Sea Interludes, Arvo Part's Cantus in memory of Benjamin Britten and Holst's Planets. This concert will also feature the student winner of the 2013-2014 GDYO Concerto Competition.
