Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra presents Wind Symphony and Flute Choir

The latest concert from Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra will feature their phenomenal Wind Symphony, led by conductor Dr. Nicholas Williams, and GDYO’s Flute Choir, led by conductor Dr. Priscilla Holt. 

The Wind Symphony repertoire will include: Til Eulenspiegel by Strauss, Horn Concerto No. 1 in E flat, Mvt. 1 by Strauss, and selected movements of Portraits of a Southern Sky by Greg Newton, Stars and Stripes Forever by Sousa. 

The Flute Choir repertoire will include: Inisheer by Walsh, Serenade from The Jewels of the Madonna by Wolf-Ferrari, Milonga del Angel for Saxophones and Flutes by Piazzola, and Purple Earth by Cooke.
